Molly McCue, LPC.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Molly has been in practice since 2002 and  started Family Matters in December of 2005.  Working with individuals and families, she has extensive training in Family Therapy & Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Molly received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and her Master’s in Education  and Counseling from the University of North Florida.  Molly has been in the Mental Health field since 1995 .  Molly has lived in St. Mary’s for over ten years. She is a military wife experienced with deployments and military life.

 

Carlene Taylor, LPC, NCC

Carlene is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor & Equine Facilitated/Animal Assisted Therapist. Carlene received her Bachelor of Science in Business Education at the University of South Florida and her Master of Education in Community Agency Counseling at Auburn University. Prior to joining the practice in February of 2007, Carlene authored many articles and workshops on Equine Facilitated Mental Health, and Sexual Abuse Trauma Treatment.  Carlene served as the chair of the Standards & Ethic Committee for the Equine Facilitated Mental  Health Association, is NARHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and the Georgia State Chairperson for NARHA      (North American Riding for the Handicap Association)

 

Judy K. Rath, LPC

Located in both our St. Mary’s and St. Simons Island locations, Judy is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with additional training in Neurofeedback Therapy, a treatment modality which uses brainwave (EEG) biofeedback to facilitate therapy for conditions including ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic pain, and addiction.   Judy received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Physiology from the University of Arkansas.  She received her Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University.  She brings experience in cognitive enhancement and rehabilitation from a Neuropsychological  practice in the Atlanta area.  Judy uses her experience in group facilitation to provide outreach work conducting Domestic Violence groups for Women and Children in Brantley County, as well as Anger Management, Parenting, Grief Support, and Coping Skills groups in all locations.  Judy, impassioned with assisting clients to live life to the fullest, couples her foundation in cognitive therapy with additional wellness innovations based upon current research.  Judy resides in St. Simons Island.

    Sue is our latest addition, joining the practice with more than 25 years of clinical experience in out-patient psychotherapy.  "Sue has spent over 30 years working with teens, children and their families.  She has worked in and about Juvenile Court as a therapist and in Probation.  She has also worked with women in recovery and with their children.  Sue prides herself in her ability to communicate with teens, kids, moms, and dads.  She loves play-do, legos, and making puppets which makes her a favoriate with young children.   Sue will soon be able to bill Medicaid and Medicare in addition to standard commercial insurance and Amerigroup and Wellcare. 

    Nancy Tuccillo, RYT  500

    Nancy is a  500 hour practitioner registered with the Yoga Alliance.   She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression and eating disorders in    addition to general health and wellness.  Yoga for mind, body and spirit has been in existence for thousands of years.  Yoga therapy is a relatively new use of the ancient skill.  It  is the practice of yoga for the purpose of alleviating specific mental, emotional and/or physical symptoms.  Yoga   therapists are specially trained and certified and work under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.  Nancy  leads individual or small group sessions two days per week in our St. Mary’s office.  Yoga therapy is not yet reimbursable through  private insurance, however,  a cash     payment scale is available.    Yoga therapy is an EXCELLENT self care practice for  others in the helping/healthcare professions.
